A 5-foot wooden gate is an excellent choice for increased security and privacy, however, the best way to know what size gate to get is to measure your space or consider factors like price and the level of privacy you want.

How difficult is it to install a 5ft gate, and can I do it myself?

All of our gates are designed with easy installation in mind. Our gates can be hung from either side for flexibility when installing. Although you can install a gate alone, we recommend having someone with you for any needed assistance.

What's the best way to maintain my 5ft wooden gate to ensure its longevity?

Thanks to our pressure-treated timber, there is very little to do in terms of maintenance. We recommend cleaning your gate periodically with mild soap and water and removing any leaves that may get stuck to it. You can also stain and paint your gate for further protection.
